I placed an order on May 12, 2017 and was told the order would arrive by May 19th. On May 22nd I called to inquire about the status of the order and was told they are having systems problems in the warehouse and could not tell me when my order would be shipped.

They offered me a $20 credit against a future order to which I said "no thanks" if you can't get the order to me within a reasonable period of time and don't take the time to let customers know that you are having problems a $20 gift certificate won't make it better for me. I am still waiting for my order to be shipped.

Same thing is happening to me. Rep said--"We don't know when it will ship, but it will be as soon as possible.

No email telling me that. And I DIDN'T get an offer of a $20.00 certificate!

They totally have dropped the ball. Their problems should not be the customer's problem.

They can't tell you anything and gave ship dates that they have missed by weeks. I ordered my items weeks in advance of a trip and they did not offer any solutions, no 20% off or $20 whatever. Doesn't cut it. Cancelling orders of which I probably will never see my gift card $ or LL Bean coupons returned to me.

Beyond frustrated! Thanks for nothing LLBean= lost long time customer of 27 years.

Same issues with them since March and I lost a few ten dollar coupons. My most recent chat with them was yesterday and I could tell that the poor rep was feeling shame and exhaustion.

He wasn't all chatty and zombie-positive like the others have been for the last 3 months.

I'm beginning to wonder if their new CEO ( from Walmart) is turning Bean into a shell of a company and having item shipped directly to customers from manufacturers in China. I tried calling them ten times in one day and no one answered the phone

What really angers me most is that they lie to their reps and give them scripted lies to tell customers. They are treating their employees like ***- forcing them into retirement, cutting retirement benefits, etc..

As all or most of us loyal patrons may know, LL Bean already had one of the most efficient fulfillment centers with a 4 business day delivery at most and in fact many corps from around the world studied Bean's model .

You can read about it here: https://www.fastcompany.com/32602/ll-bean-delivers-goods So, when the reps told me that Bean was upgrading their system to provide even faster delivery, I knew they were full of BS UNLESS they were going to overnight ship all their orders. When I questioned the rep about this her zombie response was, ' the faster we can get it out the door, the faster it will get to you'.

I told her that was not true at all and shipping times vary greatly depending on what courier is used and what level of service they used. Her response was ' so true'.
