For many years I’ve lived in their woman’s shearling slippers. I’d wear them until they fell apart, usually it would take 2-3 years for that to happen.
Even then the lining would maintain its plush, soft lining that naturally repelled odors. Last year when my previous pair started to come apart (after their announcement that they would not stand behind their products anymore), I asked for a new pair for Christmas. Within a few months they were matted down, had lost all of their shearling loft.
At this point I can not wear them as after wearing them my feet stink as if I were wearing some cheap poly blend.
I’ve done some research and my next pair are coming from Eddie Bauer.
Please note I have never impinged on the lifetime guarantee that Bean USED to offer as I fully expect well worn items to eventually fall apart and need replacing. Sorry Bean, it’s not me, it’s you.
