LL Bean - Priced Excessively
I am wondering why LL Bean is charging $49 for a woman's flannel shirt. I have bought flannel shirts from them for years and they seem to have increased in price about $20 over the last few years.
They seem also to have decreased in thickness. A sweater is the same price as a flannel shirt. This seems a little excessive to me. The prices of shirts in general have become prohibitive to many who have bought LL Bean merchandise in the past.
I have always thought of LL Bean for both quality and value. The cost of some of your merchandise is disappointing.
Reason of review: Pricing issue.

What they do is buy shirts from 3rd world countries where employees are treated like *** The quality of materials is poor, Then they import and raise the prices by 300% & say they have โfreeโ shipping and a โgenerousโ (eg fraudulent) returns policy. So you are paying the extra $20 for a shirt that cost them about$5 to make and $2 to import.
It is all corporate BS. Do not buy from Bean.
Send your stuff back to them. They are a fraud.
You have not heard of inflation? Give me a break!
Every product goes up in cost each year. Also LL Bean still has the best warranty of anybody. I have shirts that our 20 year old that i still wear purchase from LL Bean.
If I have a problem they take of it right away. They also are very nice to me.
They no longer honor their returns policy. Look it up on their website.
So, yes, you are going to pay more for clothes of a lesser quality from a dishonest company.
This is not a company intelligent people should support. It is intended for the dumb and dunderheads out there (sadly, lots of them, usually can identify them as they wear red hats).
