My wife bought me an $80.00 pair of slippers from LL Bean for Xmas of 2016, They started falling apart the following November and were unwearable by Dec 2017. They didn't even last a year.

We took them back to LL Bean when we went up to Maine a few weeks ago, and they told us they wouldn't replace them as their policy had changed.

They looked at the slippers and said "Yep, they would be replaced if you brought them up in December, but you're too late now." We have a new policy".

Guess what? I do to. I don't buy from LL Bean anymore. We bought the identical pair of slippers from our local shoe store this past weekend for $34.00. I told them about LL Bean and they said they would warranty these slippers for a year and even a bit longer if it was a defect.

LL Bean charges double for items they don't make, but stick their logo on. Now, they won't stand behind their any of products.

Good bye LL Bean!!!!!
